Which Airport is the closest?
The closest airport is Newark Airport (EWR). It is approximately 35 miles from our offices. Other area airports are New York - Kennedy (JFK) and New York – LaGuardia (LGA)
Which Hotel is recommended?
There are two area hotels that offer a special EXTOL Rate, The Residence Inn by Marriott:Wayne and Hyatt Place: Fair Lawn. Additional information and other hotels can be found in the Services/Customer Education/Hotel Information section on the website.
Do I need to rent a car?
Yes, there is no public transportation available to our office. The hotel may provide a shuttle service, but it is not guaranteed. You can receive a discount rate on a rental car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car by using the EXTOL code of 24D8576.
Course Information
Which version of the product will I use in class?
Courses are taught on the most current release of the software available.
Can I get an agenda or list of topics for a course?

Are there prerequisites for the training class? Do I need to prepare in advance? Yes. Prerequisites are listed with the individual course descriptions, as they vary from course to course.
Are the prerequisites really required?
Prerequisites are required to ensure that you are prepared for the level of material in the course you are taking, can keep up with the rest of the class, and arrive home prepared to apply what you have learned in your business.
Where can I find the Tutorial?
The tutorial can be found on the Documentation CD. It may also be downloaded from the Documentation section on Customer Zone.
May I purchase a training manual, and is it available before class?
We do not sell training manuals. They are distributed on the first day of class.
Do I have to download any software before attending any of the Web-based courses?
If you are taking a web-delivered class, you may have to download web meeting software. All download information will be included in the confirmation.
Classroom Information
Will I have Internet access to check my email during class?
We provide Internet access to check your e-mail during class break times.
Will I have to share a PC?
All students have their own workstation.
What are the course hours?
Classes generally run from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day, with the exception of the last day, which runs from 9:00am -3:30pm. Check your confirmation email for any variations.
Will the class end early on the last day?
The last day is scheduled to run until 3:30pm. On occasion it may end earlier, depending on the size and expertise of the class.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Information
What if I have to cancel my course attendance?
Please notify your Customer Account Manager as soon as you know you will be unable to attend your scheduled course. Cancellation fees are as follows:
- If you cancel one to three weeks prior to the beginning of the class, you will be responsible for 50% of the cost of the course.
- If you cancel less than one week prior, or do not show up, you will be responsible for 100% of the cost of the course, or if it applies, the training seat included with your software purchase will be forfeited.
- To receive a full refund, you must notify EXTOL of the cancellation three or more weeks prior to the start of your scheduled course.

What if I have to reschedule my course attendance?
Please notify your Customer Account Manager as soon as you know you want to reschedule your attendance. Rescheduling fees are as follows:
- If you reschedule one or more weeks prior to the start of the course, there is no rescheduling fee, the first time you reschedule. Any additional reschedules, will be subject to a rescheduling fee.
- If you reschedule less than one week prior to the start of the course, there is a 50% rescheduling fee.

Can EXTOL cancel or reschedule a class?
EXTOL reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class. If we do so, we will notify all students at least one week prior to the planned start date. As a result, we suggest that you purchase refundable airline tickets.
Miscellaneous
How should I dress?
The dress code at EXTOL is casual. We recommend you wear layers to ensure your comfort as room temperatures can fluctuate.
Are meals included?
Continental breakfast and snacks are provided each day. Training attendees are responsible for their own lunch and dinner.
How do I pay?
Your company will be sent an invoice after you attend training.
