FUNDAMENTALS

This Self-Paced training covers the basics of AS2 and works through the fundamental steps for a successful AS2 implementation using EXTOL Secure Exchange (ESX), including EXTOL Secure Proxy (ESX Proxy). It is designed for those who set up and run daily EDI/AS2 operations.

This training is available in Customer Zone, here, and on the Documentation CD included with the product, starting with ESX release v5.5.

Course Objectives: By the end of this course, the student will:

• Understand the basics of AS2
• Understand how to configure and use ESX, including:
  • Create, Export, and Import Keys and Certificates
  • Establish a new Trading Partner
  • Run the daily inbound processes
  • Run the daily outbound processes
  • Debug an error
• Understand how to locate and use the logs available in the system
• Learn how to integrate ESX with other EXTOL products or third party applications
• Understand the function of the included ESX Proxy, including Failover operation
