Product Summary

The EXTOL Enterprise Adapter (EEA) family of integration products provides design-time and runtime interface components that integrate commercial application systems with external trading partners and internal applications and enterprise data, using XML, EDI, spreadsheet, flat file, and database content.

Each EXTOL Enterprise Adapter package consists of separately packaged collections of interface components and pre-built sample transactions that work with the EXTOL EDI Integrator for i (EEI) or EXTOL Business Integrator (EBI) base products. EEA packages are available for the following commercial applications*:

  • SAP Business Suite (SAP R/3)
  • Oracle E-Business Suite
  • Oracle / J.D. Edwards Enterprise One / World

The EXTOL Enterprise Adapter packages are designed to enable rapid integration of application-to-application (A2A) and business-to-business (B2B) integration processes, and to work seamlessly with EXTOL’s EEI and EBI products to provide centralized configuration and control for all communications and data integration activity for the supported commercial application products.

* Additional commercial software providers, including DST Health Solutions and Vormittag Associates, incorporate interfaces to EXTOL technology directly, providing built-in support for EDI and other integration requirements.

The EXTOL EDI Integrator for i and EXTOL Business Integrator products support integration with other commercial application products, using built in data, web services, messaging, and API interface mechanisms.
