EXTOL Business Integrator connects field representatives with in-house systems

POTTSVILLE, Pa. (Jan. 14, 2010) — EXTOL International Inc. has partnered with Agilis Systems LLC to integrate its EXTOL Business Integrator (EBI) with Agilis’ mobile field service applications. Using EBI, Agilis customers can connect ERP and other in-house applications with Agilis services.

Mobile workers such as sales and service representatives use mobile devices powered by the Agilis platform to send and receive job, order and other customer data in the field. The EXTOL EBI integration suite pulls data from the customer’s internal application systems and pushes it to the Agilis platform. Field users can then view and modify service-related data in Agilis. If the data changes, EBI pulls it from Agilis and pushes it back to internal application systems to ensure consistency.

Agilis will use EXTOL technology to provide hosted integration services for smaller accounts, and on-premise integration for larger accounts that require bi-directional, end-to-end integration between Agilis mobile applications and internal customer systems.
