TechWeb offers an on-line knowledge-base for information and problem tracking. TechWeb is a free service to all registered customers. Using TechWeb, you can log, update, or check the status of a query/problem. The site also provides access to our knowledge-base of problem and issue resolutions.
Our user community is instrumental in determining how the EXTOL product line evolves. At a recent Users Conference, customers identified several changes in the functionality of TechWeb. As a result, TechWeb now sports a more flexible KnowledgeBase ( KBase ) search facility, a more robust support call system, and interaction.
Within the call tracking portion of TechWeb, y ou can add comments to open calls, use a link to view your last call, and e-mail a copy of the call status to yourself.
TechWeb is unique in that it offers/supports User Discussion Forums, where customers can exchange ideas on such topics as EDI operations, standards, communications, and interfaces.
Once you log on, TechWeb immediately presents you with the Calls page. The status of all requests, submitted by either you or your company, are presented in a scrollable window. Use the unique request number, submission date, status, and/or description to find a particular item. Once you find the item, you can double-click it to produce an up-to-date report of our progress, including which of our representatives is responsible for your request and a comprehensive explanation of how the issue was resolved. Of course, you can also submit new requests just as easily.
Best viewed at a screen resolution of 800x600 or higher, TechWeb supports Microsoft IE 4.0 and higher and Netscape Navigator 4.x.
